The Slide Gate Damper is a valve or plate that is used to stop or regulate the flow of air inside a chimney, duct, air handler or several air-handling equipment. The damper may be used for cutting off central air conditioning heating or cooling to an unused room, or for regulating it for room-by-room temperature and climate control.
